I received a super honor this morning when I learned that my four-year-old niece/buddy got up early for school and picked out the I Heart My Buddy shirt that I recently got her for her birthday so that she could wear it to the big Valentine's Day party at school today! She had strep over the weekend but had told my mom she'd be ready for school on Tuesday, which I had every confidence in, because physical health starts with the right mental attitude! The doctor had said, "Oh, poor baby," when Amelia came in, and she corrected him, saying she was not a baby at all. That's what she does. She's adamant about this, which of course I respect. But yea! Buddies!
