Someone said to me the other day that if storytelling ever comes back, I'll be in good shape.
No.
When I have brought back storytelling and the human connectedness that comes with it... when I have instigated a more powerful version of storytelling and that concomitant connectedness...when I get past these people...when I have brought something back and moved something else forward...
That is when I will be in good shape.
Not because I'm a happy inheritor of what a more propitious age offers.
I'm here to make the age.
Big difference.
Sixty works of short fiction have now, as of this morning, been composed since June 2018.
