After the Bruins defeated the Florida Panthers last night in overtime, Jack Edwards exclaimed, "Throw the cat off the cliff!"
A very strange man.
I don't know, sir--I'd just try and relax about something like this. It's an early regular season game against the team that ousted your team in the spring for what, in my view, is the biggest choke job in NHL history.
True, I'm no cat fan, but still, "throw the cat off the cliff" does seem out of place.
I suppose it is less the declaration I have a problem with and more the circumstances in which it was used.
