Fitness accounting.


On Thursday and Friday of last week the Bunker Hill Monument was closed because of the heat index. Thursday I ran a quick thirty circuits of stairs at the Connecticut gate, walked three miles, did 100 push-ups and three planks, which are something else I'm doing now. One of them was for a minute-and-a-half, the others a minute each. I wanted to see if I could reach ninety seconds. On Friday, the deal was mostly the same, except I did five planks that time. I'll do up to ninety seconds, but most of the time--for now, at least--it's for a minute.


On Saturday I walked walked three miles, did six planks and 200 push-ups, and fifty circuits of stairs outside of the Bunker Hill Monument at the Connecticut gate. Admittedly, the heat and humidity were neutralizing me some. Went to Trader Joe's. Had stocked up on fruits at Haymarket on Friday.


On Sunday I walked three miles, did five planks and 200 push-ups, and ran seventy-five circuits of stairs outside of the Bunker Hill Monument, which is 3600 stairs in total.


Monday I ran 3000 stairs at City Hall, did 100 push-ups and a solitary plank. Tuesday was just 1000 stairs at City Hall, 100 push-ups and three planks. Wednesday I completed five circuits of stairs inside of the Bunker Hill Monument, walked three miles, did 100 push-ups and five planks. Five more circuits of stairs in the Bunker Hill Monument yesterday, three miles walked, 100 push-ups and three planks. I did the five circuits in less than thirty minutes. Same workout today. I'd say that it was a little tricky in the Monument this morning, with the humidity being at 89%, but I still did decently, and finished in thirty minutes.


Wednesday I had a slight cough, yesterday a slight chill. I even wore a fleece later in the day. Wednesday was a cool day--a touch of autumn in the air. Yesterday was comfortable. Today, humid as I said.


This past Sunday marked 2947 days, or 421 weeks, without a drink.
